He looks like a friend, maybe the solid head on the tip of the long neck can be perceived as a bit uncanny for some though, it definitely contrasts with how fluffy every other part of him is.

grunesdragon responds:

A lot of posable art dolls are made this way, I think I'm just bad at it, lol!

I like the character's expression and the hair, but it took me a good while to notice those were tears. I thought they were either carvings or even a broken pair of glasses for a bit before I read the title, not sure if you were trying something different but I can't say that it works for me.

At first, it legitimately took me a couple minutes of sheer shock to truly understand what I was looking at. I mean the art is great, you nailed the style for both, I could immediately tell who the characters were and even what they were thinking just by looking at them, but trying to figure the reasoning for the content itself had me dumbfounded for a bit.

From there I almost just considered it as some sort of bizarre inexplicable shipping, then the Description delivered to me that this is, in fact, a somewhat "possible" explanation as to who would bear his 7 daughters in the show.

Everything just kind of clicked perfectly from there, and I've actually started appreciating it a lot more as an actual comic rather than just another atrocity of the ages. It's very well layed out and the expressive interactions between both characters are on point.

All that said, great job! I mean it's still an extremely cursed comic set, but I've been thoroughly entertained by it nonetheless.

teacupballerina responds:

I wish I could 5-star comments!
Although I haven't posted much of it here yet this ship is something I've been drawing since I was a kid, and only in the last few years do I feel I've really nailed the characters. There's a certain dark undertone I saw in it and probably never really captured until doing these comics, but it finally came through. In any case it was a lot of fun to draw these, and I'm glad you can see the humor or at the very least even a small bit of entertainment value. :)

Very nice design! Though, I feel her legs may be posed a bit uncomfortably even for a robot.

Colors are sweet too, maybe there's a bit too much negative space on there and it makes her seem smaller than she already is, but overall it's pretty dope.

TheArtofSilent responds:

Hello!

Yeah, I have been wanting to redraw this one for a while now. There's some things I want to fix, like what you said, her hands and pose in general, the drills perspective and even add a decent background.

Thank you a lot for the feedback, I think that's the first time I received some actual criticism.

This is *not* E rated and you know it, ahaha.

Probably one of the best renditions of Temmie out there, I love her hair and fangs. Feet instead of paws works too.

This is pretty sweet dude, I like the concept of Fifi going emo, that hair suits her too.

You may have tagged this as a sketch on accident, so it's not currently showing up in the art portal. It looks finished to me.

Furboz responds:

Thanks for noticing, Now it can be seen in the art portal

He's friend shaped, I like him.

Just a reminder though, Sketches and WIPs aren't meant to go in the Art Portal.

V has good potential, reminds me of Devilman.
II is straight up Melty Blood's Kouma with a sword c'mon; I can't tell what's the other thing he's holding. Is it a book?

nillaaa responds:

LOL no what hes holding is the shining proof that i spent less than a minute on that drawing. also its luz but once again, less than a minute lole

I like the background and the colors, her face and hair are pretty nice as well.

The way I see it, the outfit sags a little near her chest, making it look like she is kinda chubby in that region which contrasts with her skinny arms and waist, so I can't help but feel it should have just converged into her hip holder thing to avoid ambiguity of her form.

Still though, nice job. The South theme reminds me of that Disney's Princess and The Frog Movie which is a very underused and interesting setting.

BrandonP responds:

Thanks for the critique on her outfit!

Holy guacamole, this is a very solid sheet for a very solid looking character!

Those outfits are very fashionable, not sure if she wears padding on the shoulders in some of them though since they look a bit blockier/manlier than her turn around suggests, but that could be just my impression.

I love the fuzzyness on the tail/head, maybe have some fur sticking out around the legs, like in the casual clothes, to match it? Either way, great work!

ff0 responds:

Thank you! I am glad you like her.

Those are all clothes I own and wear, thus I can confirm there is some form of padding or sewing technique that makes the shoulders appear larger on all 3 of the outfits shown.

This character represents me, I have a bit of a reversed triangle body shape that I put emphasis on using the design ( fur tufts, clothing, markings, etc. ) which is why the lower body part of the character seems to lack some of those features!
