The curious bit about this series is that the real Ami and Yumi are in their 50's still doing their thing. Both are mums, and Yumi has in fact divorced twice.

Wouldn't have looked any of this up if it weren't for your work, which depicts a third mysterious thing which is either a fantasy left behind or omen for what's dead ahead. I don't know how you do it but I like it.

I really like their designs, the pointy shapes on the suits are very fun to look at. The dracula-esque shirt collar on Lione is great, but his tie is a mystery to me.

nillaaa responds:

thanks duckie! :D! i was thnking it would be a super low tie, like he didnt care enough to tie it back up properly.

I'm particularly digging the coherence/structure in these 2 pages so far, and also the fact the beige cat (Bitey?) showed she isn't an unsalvageable cunt after all.

The last 6 panels, to me, were as if her facade of looking tough/disconnected as a defense mechanism against most bullshit in her gross world (depicted in other strips) finally came down crashing. That, or the sedatives/blood loss took their toll on her adrenaline bank. I like them either way.

I know the handwritten text might be an actual thing you wanna do, but you may want to consider turning your handwriting into a custom font to save time and keep consistency, as it can get difficult to read at times currently.

SnippyJammin responds:

Yeah, Bitey's the beige cat. And thank you! Your insights are far above the scope I feel my comic occupies, but I appreciate it immensely. I've always felt that the handwriting was always a rough point and my own bad handwriting habits leads to a lot of inconvenience (both for writing and reading). Thank you for finally pushing me to make a font, I kept putting it off. So look forward to that. Thank you again.

I really gotta preface this with how I'm not the biggest bondage/noncon fan out there, but the way you've been laying out this comic is top grade regardless, and I can't help but simply appreciate it.

The designs are adorable and energetic. The pacing is sincerely pleasant and makes excellent use of a brief amount of pages to portray the character personalities (with Willy being an impulsive Gremlin, and Josh being prudent yet still a guy who exposes himself). Backgrounds are done expertly, telling quite a bit about the environment with their details, then naturally replaced with simpler panels to let the characters take the attention as things start to develop.

I don't think I have to bring it up since it's basically your expertise, but the facial expressions and body language are a total treat. The first 2 panels on this page for both characters are some of my favorite.

All in all, great job with this project, man. I hope to be able to give my support to hard working and good humored people like yourself soon, but in the meantime I can at least reinforce it by saying that what you're doing is fantastic regardless of our kink barrier.

OddJuice responds:

Thanks man, you're a sweetheart. It's nice to see such an in-depth review. Know that when I write my comic I hardly have bondage/non-con in mind, that's usually a side thing. I think about the characters and setting first, much like I would with any other story.

The bondage aspect is going to be a little more prominent, you'll see, but I really do think if you're telling a story about the characters FIRST and the theme AFTER everything can be contextualized, forgiven and, to a degree, even enjoyed by people who usually despise it.

It's why I liked Jurassic Park as a kid. Hated the hell out of horror movies (I was quite a scaredy-cat) but Jurassic Park fooled me because it hardly felt like an horror even though it quite clearly had predominant horror elements.

You don't need to support me in any way other than this, man. I really do put a lot of thinking into these things and here and there seeing someone who realizes it? Makes it worth it. Thanks a lot for the in-depth review, it was a pleasure reading it.

If you ever have critiques or would like to address something that might need improvement don't hold back. I'll do my utmost best to follow through!

freakin' friendly fire dude, composition on this one is real nice. good job with the movement

nillaaa responds:

thank you so much duckie!!!!! :D

I like the linework and the fuzzy fur details around curves, coloring/shades are nice also. Sadly her very human like face strikes the uncanny valley a bit too hard for me. I can't provide much on how to fix that since I do not know if it's an intended aesthetic choice, but I can say it is there.

MVGrarra responds:

Thank you for your honesty! I can say the uncanny valley effect wasn't intentional, unfortunately, but the goal was definitely to humanize/anthropomorphize these pokemon characters while still retaining their animalistic details.

Again, thank you for your honest critique. I appreciate it!

Damn that gun shoots the whole bullet; that's like 70% more bullet per bullet!

I feel there's a bit too much brain, it doesn't seem like a self-inflicted wound from that angle.
This is reinforced by how his expression is pretty empty like he was about to sneeze, missed a chance to tell a story there.

I like the colors and the outfit though! The perspective on the anatomy is fun too.

nillaaa responds:

thank you for this criticism!!!! i will take these into account for my next gore pic, especially since i have another one planned with a similar premise.... thank u again duckie, i really really do appreciate it!! <3

He looks like a friend, maybe the solid head on the tip of the long neck can be perceived as a bit uncanny for some though, it definitely contrasts with how fluffy every other part of him is.

grunesdragon responds:

A lot of posable art dolls are made this way, I think I'm just bad at it, lol!

At first, it legitimately took me a couple minutes of sheer shock to truly understand what I was looking at. I mean the art is great, you nailed the style for both, I could immediately tell who the characters were and even what they were thinking just by looking at them, but trying to figure the reasoning for the content itself had me dumbfounded for a bit.

From there I almost just considered it as some sort of bizarre inexplicable shipping, then the Description delivered to me that this is, in fact, a somewhat "possible" explanation as to who would bear his 7 daughters in the show.

Everything just kind of clicked perfectly from there, and I've actually started appreciating it a lot more as an actual comic rather than just another atrocity of the ages. It's very well layed out and the expressive interactions between both characters are on point.

All that said, great job! I mean it's still an extremely cursed comic set, but I've been thoroughly entertained by it nonetheless.

teacupballerina responds:

I wish I could 5-star comments!
Although I haven't posted much of it here yet this ship is something I've been drawing since I was a kid, and only in the last few years do I feel I've really nailed the characters. There's a certain dark undertone I saw in it and probably never really captured until doing these comics, but it finally came through. In any case it was a lot of fun to draw these, and I'm glad you can see the humor or at the very least even a small bit of entertainment value. :)

Very nice design! Though, I feel her legs may be posed a bit uncomfortably even for a robot.

Colors are sweet too, maybe there's a bit too much negative space on there and it makes her seem smaller than she already is, but overall it's pretty dope.

TheArtofSilent responds:

Hello!

Yeah, I have been wanting to redraw this one for a while now. There's some things I want to fix, like what you said, her hands and pose in general, the drills perspective and even add a decent background.

Thank you a lot for the feedback, I think that's the first time I received some actual criticism.
