This is a pretty fun loop, the smears are well employed and the tail ring getting properly constrained by the tail is a nice touch. There's something extremely lively about that stereo that I can't point out, it's very charming.

Seeing doodle Bitey being an actual character coming out of the ball pit brought me both great joy and insurmountable fear. Nice job on striking a balance with the font vs handwritten, it's much easier to follow now.
I also like how the background color of the panels are appropriate for the immediate mood they're in (darker for formal, bright blue for seemingly peaceful, red for violence with the blood spilling out of the panel, white-ish for innocent); it makes the whole thing very easy to digest at a glance even though there is a lot of wild stuff going on.
I'm particularly digging the coherence/structure in these 2 pages so far, and also the fact the beige cat (Bitey?) showed she isn't an unsalvageable cunt after all.
The last 6 panels, to me, were as if her facade of looking tough/disconnected as a defense mechanism against most bullshit in her gross world (depicted in other strips) finally came down crashing. That, or the sedatives/blood loss took their toll on her adrenaline bank. I like them either way.
I know the handwritten text might be an actual thing you wanna do, but you may want to consider turning your handwriting into a custom font to save time and keep consistency, as it can get difficult to read at times currently.
Yeah, Bitey's the beige cat. And thank you! Your insights are far above the scope I feel my comic occupies, but I appreciate it immensely. I've always felt that the handwriting was always a rough point and my own bad handwriting habits leads to a lot of inconvenience (both for writing and reading). Thank you for finally pushing me to make a font, I kept putting it off. So look forward to that. Thank you again.
I like the coy look on this one, very puffy clothes. Shoes look uncomfortable though.
It's spelled arcade bumstead, iirc.
I really gotta preface this with how I'm not the biggest bondage/noncon fan out there, but the way you've been laying out this comic is top grade regardless, and I can't help but simply appreciate it.
The designs are adorable and energetic. The pacing is sincerely pleasant and makes excellent use of a brief amount of pages to portray the character personalities (with Willy being an impulsive Gremlin, and Josh being prudent yet still a guy who exposes himself). Backgrounds are done expertly, telling quite a bit about the environment with their details, then naturally replaced with simpler panels to let the characters take the attention as things start to develop.
I don't think I have to bring it up since it's basically your expertise, but the facial expressions and body language are a total treat. The first 2 panels on this page for both characters are some of my favorite.
All in all, great job with this project, man. I hope to be able to give my support to hard working and good humored people like yourself soon, but in the meantime I can at least reinforce it by saying that what you're doing is fantastic regardless of our kink barrier.
Thanks man, you're a sweetheart. It's nice to see such an in-depth review. Know that when I write my comic I hardly have bondage/non-con in mind, that's usually a side thing. I think about the characters and setting first, much like I would with any other story.
The bondage aspect is going to be a little more prominent, you'll see, but I really do think if you're telling a story about the characters FIRST and the theme AFTER everything can be contextualized, forgiven and, to a degree, even enjoyed by people who usually despise it.
It's why I liked Jurassic Park as a kid. Hated the hell out of horror movies (I was quite a scaredy-cat) but Jurassic Park fooled me because it hardly felt like an horror even though it quite clearly had predominant horror elements.
You don't need to support me in any way other than this, man. I really do put a lot of thinking into these things and here and there seeing someone who realizes it? Makes it worth it. Thanks a lot for the in-depth review, it was a pleasure reading it.
If you ever have critiques or would like to address something that might need improvement don't hold back. I'll do my utmost best to follow through!
freakin' friendly fire dude, composition on this one is real nice. good job with the movement
thank you so much duckie!!!!! :D
I like the armor and outfit, it's all very detailed. I'm assuming she's an elf cause of the pointy ears and smug look.
Unfortunately I'm having a hard time discerning line width; the reason this matters is because you've clearly made a pose where some things are closer to the viewer (like the dagger and her right leg), but the similar line width across all parts betray this effect of proximity. If you work a bit on varying that a bit more, with thickening of lines as things get closer and thinning them as they become further away, I find it would make your poses stand out way more.
The colors and shading are very nice also. It makes it a very easy to digest design.
I *really* adore the linework on these. Yes, it's not perfect if I zoom in like a prick, but taken how the composition of the set consists of a lot of things to be taken in at once, it absolutely evens out. For instance, in this one there's the manly hands galore, the dynamic poses, the detailed outfits, the expressions, the background; it's all kept very easy on the eyes to soak in as opposed to simply feeling busy/overwhelming.
I'm not sure how long it took you, but seeing as you've effectively made a 5 piece long set of these whilst keeping consistent quality without destroying your wrist I need to give it kudos; great job man.
