Pretty Madness like, fluid animation. I like the weird portal cracks and the transitions.

The sound on the guns is very low quality, though. Also when he takes two shots in response there, there aren't any bullet holes anywhere. I don't know if this is a sequence of any series so it also leaves me pretty confused.

So yeah, some more attention to audio quality and consistency on some things here and there and this might as well be the real thing.

Pretty well done! I like the different animations. The hook throw was pretty cool.

It's hard to tell if he's actually little or if things are just big, that door seemed about his size.

I feel the walk cycle didn't match the footsteps at some points, but every other action he did from there it was great.

Illustrastar responds:

Thanks for the reply bud. I'm using flipaclip android app on my phone and on the final step when I create the video the audio offsets a bit for some reason.

Sorry pal, I can't understand a thing of this. Is this a Blue Omen Operation parody?

Consider getting a scanner, or doing the drawings digitally.

unknownstudios responds:

I apologize for the blurry ness I'll try to do subtitles next time.
But besides that
1. I don't know what blue omen is,
2. My digital drawings look terrible.

It's an interesting landscape, sadly it doesn't loop the rain sound very well. You can hear it fade in at the start.

Also those buildings certainly need some lightning rods if they're striking the sides like that!

Arthur-Muvhali responds:

noted, and thanks for the advice

Pretty good for your first animation! I like the expressions and the squish.

I feel the delivery of the original joke is a bit different from what you've animated. Not entirely sure if I get it. It's a clean animation style though so that's pretty nice, lip sync could be a bit smoother but overall rather fun.

qplok02 responds:

Thank you for the tips. I'll be more careful next time.

This is very nice for a work in progress.

The first 25 seconds were pretty good with setting the atmosphere, but then once the action picked up I felt like it was severely lacking in sound effects, combined with things just floating across the screen it felt very confusing to me.

This has a lot of potential though, needs some more inbetweens and more sounds for stuff happening and it ought to be a very solid fight animatic.

jng-artimation responds:

Yea, I had some hiccups trying to find SFX and come up with foliage with a lot of the sounds while also trying not to use copyrighted material such as background music. It is one of my earlier attempts after getting the hang of doing animatics but I'll keep a lot of these points in mind when I make future videos.

This is a very random crossover, but nonetheless enjoyable! I like the animation quite a bit, very fluid and the color scheme was very well done. Sound design is on point.

I feel that one of the original punch lines of the comic "they need some exercise; specially this one" got kind of lost with how there were multiple flashes of different characters on the screen. Imo he should have been pointing at a specific one in that case rather than flashing several.

Other than that, it's really been masterfully put together. Great work!

This was alright, Sally is a relatable character.
Good job with the Narration, I could barely notice an accent. You can do quite a lot with that.

As a side note, there is no reason to have this be served in Flash. There is no interactivity and takes away the ability to watch it on Mobile. Consider porting future animations to mp4 using Swivel or what else.

Gabriel-A responds:

Thanks man. I'll try to put my next animations in mp4. I'm already working on a story about an assassin that has a deep story.

Sometimes that extra mile makes a whole lot of difference!

Well this is kinda messed up, kinda very slow paced and agonizing to watch cause of the scatter focus of detail. I suppose that's part of the idea behind it, though.

I like the reaper entrance, pretty spooky and dramatic. A few touch ups on character anatomy while keeping style consistent would go along way in providing immersion for the message you are trying to give out.

You already have the hard part of delivering a point down in my opinion, so just keep goin!
I also don't know why this is tagged as Trump.

For a 1 week assignment this is excellent.
Great job with the color scheme and character design! The shadows and blur were very well used; Interesting "cliff hanger" as well. I found the music fitting enough.
